Here are our Team Members including a brief biography of each.
Having graduated in London in 1997, Kevin started work in the NHS. During this time he also worked in private practice where he developed a keen interest in sports injuries. Further studies have included the use of therapeutic ultrasound and dry needling. Kevin is also a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).
Emma started her career in London in 1996 where she worked in private practice and at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, Harley Street. She continues to pursue her interest in the treatment of infants and children.
Emma (Chip) graduated in 1996 and was a partner in a well established practice in Essex as well as teaching at the British School of Osteopathy before returning to the West Country. She is qualified to treat babies as well as adults but has a particular interest in treating older adults especially those who require a more gentle approach.
Paula is qualified in Sports massage BTEC level 5, SMA gold level, Thai yoga massage, Barral Institute Visceral and Neuro-meningeal manipulation.
In 2012 she worked at the pre Paralympic training camp and with Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games diving teams. Paula was a senior teacher at the NLSSM in sports massage. Paula's passion is to improve function and performance for all and she has a special interest in hypermobility syndrome, digestive issues and women's health.
Sal began studying Chinese Medicine over 20 years ago with Qigong in 2004. In 2008 he started a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements and graduated in 2011 with a BSc 1st Class Honours. Sal is a licensed acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council. He is also certified in Qigong and practices daily.
Jo is a degree trained and licensed Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist. She has a special focus on women’s health and believes Acupuncture is a powerful tool in supporting women through natural life transitions from puberty to menopause and everything in between. Jo also holds a diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics Acupuncture.
Jo is a member of the the British Acupuncture Council and is on the editorial team for their magazine; Acu.
Jackie covers reception Wednesday to Friday and can help to answer and direct your enquiries.
Michelle runs the reception on Mondays and Tuesdays and can help with your enquiries.
